I tested my Pi4 temperature in 5 minute increments. I spent three hours last night playing through various N64 games to make sure things are working. HOWEVER, this doesn't seem to be a good representation of the demands of game emulation. I concede that when I ran stress testing with all four cores working close to 100% the Flirc case seemed to not be enough, I was running just below 70 degrees within 5 minutes. Overclocked all three Pi 4s based on a thread recommendations from a reddit thread ( ), which recommended: over_voltage=4 Here is my experience, reproduced across three units: But it has been getting mixed reviews, with some folks saying it doesn't work well when trying to overclock your Pi 4.

After some wavering back and forth, I opted to go with the Flirc case ( ) because no fan noise sounded appealing to me. So I just splurged on three Pi 4s (4gb model) for emulation, one for myself, and two for some buddies.
